Why a Peer Student Success Coach?
With a coach on your side you always have someone in your corner. Your coach responds to your questions and concerns right away, checks in with you, motivates you, and helps you stay accountable to your own goals and aspirations. You and your coach act as partners to form a powerful problem-solving team.
Through Mason’s Peer Student Success Coaching Program you will:
- Develop a one-on-one relationship with an upper-level Mason student.
- Learn how to seek out resources on campus to get the information and services you need.
- Have one person that you can count on to keep up with you individually as navigate your freshman year.
Your coach is another student who is a little bit ahead of you on the path to college graduation. Your coach provides guidance and support as you overcome potential barriers to your success.
